"Wall Street Journal" (The Wall Street Journal) reported today that Apple (Apple) plans to start test production in October next generation iPad, and scheduled early 2012 listing.
The report quoted "people familiar with the situation," saying that Apple is working with component suppliers and assembly companies in Asia with the push iPad 3, and have ordered display and chip and other important parts.
Reported that the expected characteristics of this new iPad will include high-resolution 2048x1536 pixel display, iPad 2 of the pixel is 1024x768.
Wall Street Journal quoted an anonymous Apple parts suppliers saying that Apple ordered parts to be expected in the fourth quarter, weight of about 1.5 million units can be set iPad3.
Apple iPad parts from Asia, responsible for the assembly is Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (Hon Hai PrecisionIndustry Co).
Apple sold 9.25 million the previous quarter, iPad.
